One Year…

One year ago I was surprised to be in the hospital. Surprised to have a new baby. A month early.

One year ago I first saw her sweet tiny toes and smelled her sweet hair and noticed the way it swirls perfectly in the back.

One year ago I began learning her faces and her cries and how to hold her so she’ll feel warm and happy.

One year ago my darling Peanut was born.

Happy Birthday, my sweet one!!!
